Walter publishes his first paper in the lab:

Last week Ting-Hao's second first author paper was accepted and went live in the online journal eLife. Read the paper here.
Some members of the Lois lab attended the annual BBE retreat that was taking place in Long Beach, CA. Carlos gave a general overview of the research that is going in the lab and Ting-Hao presented the findings of his project regarding the synthetic neuronal tracing system.
The lab had one last party with Daniel, to thank him for his contributions to the lab and to send him well wishes for grad school and beyond! Good luck on your future endeavors, Daniel!
Some of the members of the Lois lab got together Friday evening to celebrate the coming of spring. Here's to warm weather!
We celebrated Bo's birthday with cake. The Lois lab tries (but sometimes forgets) to take some time out of lab to eat cake, drink coffee, and celebrate people's birthdays.
Last year, in the summer, some of Lois lab members went to the 626 Night Market in Pasadena to enjoy a night of exciting foods and drinks at Santa Anita Park. We hope to go again next year!
